Description
Megger PVM210 Irradiance Meter
Designed for use in the solar/photovoltaic sector, the Megger PVM210 Irradiance Meter is small, portable and can be operated using just one hand. This is particularly useful in this instrument because it measures the power from the sun in any given location to help choose the best spot for solar panels and is therefore often used on sloped rooves and up ladders.
The 3.75” LCD screen is extremely clear and has a hold feature to freeze readings on screen. When working in tandem with an ammeter, the Megger PVM210 can also give a value for short circuit current to verify the values provided by the panel manufacturer. Readings can be given in either W/m2 or British Thermal Units (BTU).
The batteries last for around 50 hours and auto power-off helps conserve energy. A universal camera thread on the back of the Megger PVM210 allows it to be mounted for precise, refined readings whilst a protective pouch provides somewhere to store the instrument when not in use.
